🇺🇸 US Senate Bans CBDC for Four Years The US Senate passed a housing bill with an 85-5 vote that includes a four-year ban on the Federal Reserve issuing a digital dollar. The law prohibits the Fed from creating CBDCs or similar digital assets, either directly or through intermediaries, until the end of 2030. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh called CBDCs a "bad political decision" during his confirmation hearings. Trump signed an executive order banning CBDCs back in January of this year.
