✍️ New Trend in TON Ecosystem: Telegram Gifts TL;DR: Telegram introduces NFT gifts, with on-chain trading set to launch in 14 days. ⏰ Over three months ago, on October 5, 2024, Telegram introduced Gifts for the first time — animated artworks that users can exchange with one another. The gifts were categorized into two types: regular and limited edition, the latter quickly capturing users' attention. With the latest update, Telegram users can now mint limited edition gifts into unique NFTs for 25 Stars, which cover the TON Blockchain fees for minting. While gifts can currently only be sent to other Telegram users, in just two weeks, it will be possible to transfer NFT gifts directly to a TON wallet. 👨‍💻 Each NFT features a unique set of characteristics, measured by rarity percentage — the lower the percentage, the more valuable the gift. The collectibles also carry an element of randomness: the images are created through random generation, and each NFT becomes unique due to its combination of the elements. At launch, over 1,400 designs from 21 limited-edition gift collections are available, with 25 more to be added soon.
